I was inspired by the first meeting scene that was tried to be performed in the movie. Louise's use of the physical greeting method, which is a nonverbal communication method, to establish her first communication with aliens whose language they do not know, and extending her hand. In the movie, we see that the language affects the way of perception and the aliens perceive time differently from us with their non-linear way of writing and thinking. There are symbols used as expressions, ink stains. The focus is on interconnected dots around a circle to indicate the importance of intercultural and interdiciplinary work and its place in the film.
